The California Endowment Board of Directors sets the goals and policies relating to The Endowment's mission to expand access to affordable, quality health care for underserved individuals and communities, and to promote fundamental improvements in the health status of all Californians.
The Board and its committees set policies relating to operational spending and grant making, management, investment and governance. The Directors also worked with staff to craft our code of ethics, as well as to manage the internal/external audit processes–which help to ensure a greater transparency and accountability.
