  About the Center Facilities

Since its opening in April 2006, more than 400 organizations have held events at the Center for Healthy Communities, welcoming more than 80,000 guests. Its meeting rooms are lofty, bright, and inviting, with glass walls facing an outdoor courtyard. It is close to bus and subway lines as well as L.A.’s railway hub, Union Station; major freeways are just minutes away and on-site parking is free.

Its 14 meeting and conference rooms, named for state landmarks like Joshua Tree and Big Sur, can accommodate gatherings from small group meetings to large-scale conferences. The 35,000-square-foot conference facility is nestled within a 6.5-acre campus, home to The California Endowment and several nonprofit partners. The environmentally friendly building was designed by the award-winning architectural firm Rios Clementi Hale Studios.
