The conference center has rooms of varying size and purpose to accommodate everything from board meetings and retreats to presentations, conferences and receptions. Equipped with advanced technology, most rooms can be configured to meet the individual needs of participants and, depending on seating arrangements, can accommodate up to 375 people. Conference center staff will assist you in identifying the best room for your event.

Who May Request to Use the Conference Center?

The California Endowment provides use of the conference facilities at no cost to organizations whose programs advance The Endowment’s mission to expand access to affordable, quality health care for underserved individuals and communities, and to promote fundamental improvements in the health status of all Californians. Eligible organizations include:

  • Nonprofit organizations that are exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and are classified as “not a private foundation” under Section 509(a).
  • Independent, sponsored projects of a nonprofit Section 501(c)(3) organization acting as a fiscal sponsor.
  • Government and public agencies.

Less than 100 people (10 min) 6 months in advance*
Recurring events 3 at a time
Quarterly events 2 at a time

Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis by the Events Manager.

How to Request a Reservation

Request a conference room reservation here, by clicking the reservation button above. Conference center staff will respond to your request as quickly as possible. If your request is approved, an events coordinator will facilitate all necessary arrangements for your meeting. All requests are reviewed on a weekly basis.

Steps to making your reservation:

  • Click Request Reservation above
    (First-time users must create a user name and password).
  • Select Set up login or First-time users create account.
  • Enter a user name and password
  • Click the Save button
  • Account Updated will appear at the top of the page
  • Go to My Account, then Login
  • Go to Reservations, then Room Request Form
  • Fill in the information for the requested dates and press Submit

EVENT HOST CHECKLIST
Proper planning helps ensure that your meeting is effective and enjoyable for you and your guests. Here is a short checklist to assist you.
