The California Endowment recognizes that real health improvements are tied to systemic reforms beyond the size and scope of our grant making. So, to help community and civic leaders, health providers, advocates, and policymakers join together in the quest for sustainable solutions to California's critical health issues, we've opened the doors of our Sacramento office. The office contains a conference center, the Sacramento Meeting Place, with three rooms of varying sizes. They are ideal for gatherings ranging from small meetings to large convenings. All meeting rooms offer advanced audiovisual technology. Additionally, the Meeting Place offers two drop-in office spaces for people who may need a place to work for the day while visiting the state capital.
The California Endowment provides use of the Meeting Place at no cost to organizations whose programs advance The Endowment's mission: to expand access to affordable, quality health care for underserved individuals and communities, and to promote fundamental improvements in the health of all Californians. Eligible organizations include:
The Meeting Place has meeting space available free of charge for qualified nonprofit organizations. It is located at: 1414 K Street, Suite 500 Monday-Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Closed weekends and alternating Fridays. Parking: The Meeting Place does not provide parking. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis across the street at the State Capitol building for an hourly fee. Additional parking may also be found in surrounding buildings for an hourly fee. Facilities Accessibility: Rooms and restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
