TCE Grant Making 2023
We partner with the community to improve the health of all Californians. Our grant making is guided by three bold ideas: People Power, Reimagining Institutions, and a 21st Century Health System for All.
Over the past decade of listening and responding to partners, TCE learned that “it begins and ends with people power.” Our grant making process is guided by the practice of trust-based philanthropy and the recognition that people closest to the problem have the best understanding of the solutions.
Over the next several years, the Endowment will continue supporting the Good Troublemakers – nonprofit organizations advancing racial justice and health equity in California for systemic and policy change.
TCE will continue to focus grant making on areas of greatest need, where inequity is highest, and to align with the community on goals and priorities. Together, we will create good trouble to impact systemic change, create a more equitable and racially just California and achieve a beloved community.
