Keep up the good work, California. The sacrifices being made by families, individuals, communities, businesses, and nonprofits to shelter-in-place and practice physical distancing appear to be working.
You are supporting the work of public health departments across the state.
You are helping to prevent dramatic surges into our health care and hospital system.
You are saving lives by reducing the rate of COVID 19 spread.
You are helping to flatten the curve.
But now is NOT the time to relax – keep it up until we hear from public health officials and our Governor that we can safely begin the process of “normalizing” – and this may still take a while and may need to happen in phases.
But, indeed the flattenin’ is happenin’….
